Sally Kotb has been appointed to the Young Practitioners Subcommittee of the Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge

Sally Kotb has been appointed to the Young Practitioners Subcommittee of the Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge with effect from May 2020. Based in Dubai, Sally is counsel at Baker McKenzie Habib Al Mulla. She specialises in international commercial arbitration with a particular focus on energy and construction disputes. Sally is admitted to practice in Egypt and is a registered legal consultant in Dubai. She speaks English and Arabic. Sally acts as sole and co-arbitrator in respect of disputes under the DIFC-LCIA Rules, CRCICA and DIAC Rules. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a member of the steering committee of DIAC40 and acted as regional representative for the LCIA Young International Arbitration Group for three years. Sally is also a registered trainer on the Dubai Legal Affairs Department (DLAD) training program. Sally has recently been recognised by the Association of Young Arbitrators (AYA) as one of Africa’s 50 Most Promising Arbitration Practitioners 2020.
