Nadia Darwazeh was awarded the Swiss Arbitration Association’s Prize for Advocacy on 3 February 2022, a prize which is bestowed every two years upon a chosen individual with “exceptional talents in advocacy” in international commercial arbitration. Nadia is head of Clyde & Co’s international arbitration practice in Paris. She has over twenty years of experience acting as counsel and sitting as arbitrator in commercial and investor-state arbitrations. Nadia worked in leading arbitration groups in London, Frankfurt and Shanghai prior to moving to Paris. She spent three years as Counsel at the ICC and is today a member of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and the ICC Taskforce on Addressing Issues of Corruption in International Arbitration.
