Maxi Scherer has been appointed as a member of the LCIA Arbitration Court with effect from 3 June 2020. Maxi is a special counsel in the International Arbitration Practice Group at WilmerHale and a professor of law and Chair for International Arbitration, Dispute Resolution and Energy Law at Queen Mary University of London. She has represented clients, provided expert opinions and sat as arbitrator in more than 100 commercial and investor-state arbitrations. Maxi is recognised for her expertise by all of the leading directories and has been identified by Who’s Who as one of the top 20 “Global Elite Thought Leaders” in international arbitration.
