Maria Chedid has been named Global Co-Chair of Arnold & Porter’s international arbitration practice, effective October 2021. Maria is based in the firm’s San Francisco office and specializes in international commercial arbitration, particularly technology, life sciences, and Asia related disputes. She also handles investment treaty matters, including on behalf of both States and investors. In addition to her counsel work, Maria regularly serves as an arbitrator, is currently serving her second term as a US member of the ICC Court, and guest-lectures on arbitration at leading law schools around the globe.
