Lucy Reed has been appointed to the Advisory Board of the Mauritius International Arbitration Centre. In addition to acting as an arbitrator in commercial and treaty cases, Lucy is now Professor on the Faculty of Law and Director of the Centre for International Law, National University of Singapore. Lucy is President-Elect of ICCA and is a Vice President of both ICCA and the SIAC court. Prior to joining NUS, Lucy led the global international arbitration group at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer from New York, Hong Kong and Singapore. She is a former President of the American Society of International Law, having been recognized by the Society’s Women in International Law Interest Group as the Prominent Woman in International Law in 2011, and a former Chair of the Institute for Transnational Arbitration. She is ranked as one of the world’s most in demand arbitrators by the Chambers Guide.
