Jane Player will join Independent Mediators, home to full-time civil and commercial mediators, with effect from 1 April 2021. Jane has been a full-time independent mediator since 2017, but has been mediating as counsel for nearly thirty years and as an accredited mediator since 2001. She has led or co-mediated over 400 mediations in the industries banking and finance, professional negligence, insurance, general corporate and contractual matters, IP, IT/telecommunications, media/entertainment and project disputes. Jane has particular experience of international dispute resolution and has a leading reputation for managing cross cultural aspects of joint venture and international shareholder disputes. She was previously a Partner at King & Spalding, Bird & Bird, and DLA Piper in London.
