Gitanjali Bajaj has been elected as a Vice-President of the Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA), with effect from 1 June 2021. She previously served as an Executive Director of ACICA prior to being elected as a Vice-President. Gitanjali is a partner at DLA Piper Australia and co-heads DLA’s International Arbitration practice in Asia-Pacific. She has extensive experience in international commercial arbitration with a focus on oil and gas, infrastructure and construction, power and clean energy. Gitanjali was named “2022 Lawyer of the Year in International Arbitration – Sydney” by the Best Lawyers and was awarded “Arbitration Practitioner of the Year” at the Australian ADR Awards in 2020.
