ArbitralWomen Members Are Appointed as Leading Officers of the LCIA Users’ Councils

Natalie Voser, Natalie Reid,Samaa Haridi and Kate Cervantes-Knox have been appointed in leading positions of the LCIA European, Arab and North American Users’ Councils.

Nathalie Voser has been appointed as President of the LCIA European Users’ Council. Nathalie is a partner in Schellenberg Wittmer’s Dispute Resolution Group focusing on arbitration and complex international litigation, and sits as an arbitrator. Based in Zurich, Nathalie is a member of bar of Switzerland and speaks English, French, German and Italian. Nathalie is a Vice President of the LCIA, a Board Member of the Swiss Arbitration Association and a member of the VIAC International Advisory Board.

Natalie Reid has been appointed as President of the LCIA North American Users’ Council. Natalie is a partner in the International Disputes Group at Debevoise & Plimpton, where her practice focuses on international arbitration, public international law and complex commercial litigation matters. Natalie is a member of the Board of Directors of the LCIA and is recognized by all the leading directories for her expertise in international arbitration.

Samaa Haridi has been appointed as a Vice President of the LCIA Arab User’s Council for a second term. Samaa is a partner at Hogan Lovells LLP, based in New York, and she represents parties in international commercial and investment arbitration proceedings under the arbitration rules of all the major arbitral institutions. Ms. Haridi also frequently sits as an arbitrator in international disputes. Samaa is a member of the New York, California, and England & Wales bars. Samaa also serves as a Court Member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration and Vice Chair of the IBA Arbitration Committee.

Kate Cervantes-Knox has been appointed as a Councillor of the LCIA European Users’ Council. Kate is a partner at DLA Piper LLP’s London office. Kate specialises in international commercial and investment arbitration across a number of sectors and is one of the leaders of DLA Piper’s Latin American practice. Kate is a solicitor-advocate admitted in England and Wales and a fluent Spanish speaker. She is a Visiting Professor at the University of Law, London. Kate is included in Who’s Who Legal: Future Leaders – Arbitration 2019 and has been recognised in the inaugural Legal 500 Arbitrator Powerlist 2019.
