Antonia Birt has been appointed to the international advisory board to the Young Arbitration Group of Pakistan’s Center for International Investment and Commercial Arbitration. Antonia is a senior associate in the International Arbitration Group at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and acts as counsel and advocate in commercial and construction arbitrations focusing on major projects. Based in Dubai, Antonia is admitted as a Solicitor of England and Wales and speaks English, German and Russian. She has acted as arbitrator in DIAC arbitration proceedings. She has also recently completed a three-year term as events coordinator for Young ICCA, and continues to act as ‘Pledge Champion’ for the MENA region for the Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge.
