Aanchal Basur, a current member of the Young ArbitralWomen Practitioners Steering Committee, has been appointed as an Ambassador of Arbitrator Intelligence for the 2020-2021 Term, effective 1 October 2020. Aanchal is a partner with a boutique dispute resolution firm, AB Law in New Delhi, India. She regularly appears before the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court in commercial disputes and as counsel in international and domestic arbitrations. Prior to her practice in India, Aanchal interned at Herbert Smith Freehills LLP in Frankfurt and Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP in London and worked with Nakul Dewan, barrister at 20 Essex Chambers in London & Singapore. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Punjabi, and has knowledge of German.
