About Country Representatives

The initiative aims to expand ArbitralWomen’s reach, enhance membership and increase regional presence and visibility.

As part of ArbitralWomen (AW)’s ongoing efforts to enhance membership and increase regional presence and visibility, the Board developed an initiative introducing Country Representatives (CRs).

This initiative responds to growing interest from members worldwide who are eager to contribute more actively to AW’s mission at the local level. The initiative aims to expand AW’s reach and engagement while promoting female practitioners, particularly in underrepresented regions and jurisdictions. It seeks to create opportunities for local AW members and female dispute resolution practitioners to connect, collaborate, and strengthen the network.

The initiative also contemplates the organisation of both in-person and virtual events, including events conducted in local languages, to ensure that AW’s message is both accessible and effectively communicated.

At its core, the initiative is designed to empower committed AW members to serve as visible ambassadors of AW within their respective jurisdictions, while ensuring that all activities and communications remain aligned with AW’s values and brand identity.

The CRs will work in close coordination with, and under the guidance of, AW Board Directors, who will oversee and support the CRs initiatives throughout their term.

The news announcing this initiative on 27 January 2026 is available here. Seven CRs were appointed for the 2026–2027 term.
