Brazilian Arbitration Day is a full-day conference sponsored by the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (CAM-CCBC) that will take place at NYU School of Law on 6 September 2019 with the support of the NYU Brazilian Legal Society and ArbitralWomen. Professor Carlos Alberto Carmona will deliver opening remarks, followed by a keynote address by Professor Donald Donovan.

The conference will then include four panels

  1. a panel on class arbitration that will be moderated by CAM-CCBC President Ms. Eleonora Coelho;
  2. a panel on public arbitrations and latest developments moderated by Professor Brian King;
  3. a panel addressing the litigation culture in arbitration that will be moderated by Mr. Grant Hanessian;
  4. a panel on third party funding’s main challenges moderated by Erika Levin.
