Experience
After my LLM in EU Law at the College of Europe, having worked for a few years in the field of EU law – at the European Commission, the Court of Justice of the EU, Jones Day Brussels, and an environmental NGO – and having practiced in an Italian boutique law firm, as an Italian-qualified lawyer I decided to shift my focus to international investment law, with a PhD at Ghent University and a research assistant position at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. My PhD defence is scheduled for February 2019 on "Environmental Interests in Investment Arbitration".

Before starting my PhD at Ghent University I have obtained an LLM in EU Law at the College of Europe, Bruges, and hold a second Master of Laws from the University of Milan (110/110 Summa cum laude, top 5% of the class). I have also studied at Sheffield Hallam University, Université de Nice Sophia Antipolis, and University of California Berkeley, where I completed the course of International Litigation and Arbitration by Professor Neil Popović with a final grade of honors.
